Milk Cafe - Vegetarian Menu, Granollers

We are very happy with the 9 euro vegetarian menu available at the Milk Cafe on Girona Street, Monday to Friday.
Albert had a day off today so he could test it out himself. As you can see, he enjoyed it too.
And now, it really is the end of your birthday week!

Chelsea or Bayern?!

Oh my!

Our First Stop at the Ascension Fair

We just watched a parade depicting the arrivals of the Moors in Spain. Now we're off to see the largest fair Granollers has to offer. Fortified, of course

Recreation of the Moors vrs the Christians

The porxada has a display of the outfits to be used in the recreation this evening as part of the fesival organised for the ascencio.

My Favourite Fruit Tart

The best cream in Granollers is from Torres in the porxada. And this is my favourite tart!

Gorgeous Day

I was sitting in the late morning sun and the clouds rushed by and now it's overcast with a light drizzle.
Still, what does it matter if I am tucked up on the sofa listening to Adyashanti and about to doze off?
Quiet without Jett here. He's in London with Albert's parents. Lucky him!
Have a lovely weekend everyone.

I Did It!

This is the face of someone who successfully poured his hot coffee into the glass of ice. Well done! It was only his third try!

You Look Saucy

I play wordfued. Sometimes random players want to chat. Today my random said 'you look saucy. Very saucy.'
Of course it's a comment I don't think I have ever heard in real life. Just in comedies set in Britain. I'm not even sure what it means. Probably something like 'you look game'?

Morning Rest

First Rose of the Season 2012

This is the rose tree Albert gave me two years ago on St Jordi.
It had aphids on it yesterday. I ended up spraying it. It seems ok this morning.
The other is the week old bourganvillia I bought to liven up the colour on the balcony for our guests.

Aussie Guests

We've been very lucky this week to have my niece and nephew visiting all the way from Australia.
Today we had a huge lunch and lots of drinks for 38 euro. We're constantly hearing how cheap everything is!
Today was market day and we had a lot of fun exploring. I even found another part of the market I haven't seen before.
Tomorrow it's back to Barcelona with a special focus on the gothic quarter.
Yay for aussies!

Two Older Men

I am not sure why, but I find the sight of two older men, with walking canes and berets highly photogentic. I'm constantly trying to snap them without being too offensive.

The Bloody Night Con Finale 2012

It's over for another year!
It was a great success with many satisfied people going home with their dreams fulfilled.
Thanks to KLZ Events, the staff and the actors for making it possible.
See you all next year!

Bloody Night Con 2012

So it's the end of the first big day of the convention and it went as a super success.
Photos, autographs, interviews, meetings and a 15min  break!
Tomorrow we'll repeat it all again and have the added pleasure of the arrival of my neice and nephew from Australia. Welcome!

Dibidabu

Our View from our Hotel

This weekend we'll be working for KLZ events, Bloody Night Con, a convention for the Vampire Diaries.
Albert will be staff co-ordinator and I will be the assistant of one of the actors.
Our hotel has a view of Dibidabu. And the photo above is the sunset over the mountain.
We've had a look around and found a nice bakery for breakfast.
Albert is organising one of the events already. Wish us luck!

Din Dins

Big thank you to Pixie who helped ever so much with relaxing me about cooking with spices. Always send you thanks when I get my dahl on.
